Aaron Baumoel

Crawling down from the depths of the Misty Virginia mountains, Aaron emerged on the Atlanta scene almost a legend. Having played with many great acts in the past, such as Aggressor State, Sybaritic and Paladin, he quickly subdued his enemies and took up his throne. As the voice of the new horde, Malefic, he has managed to quickly turn them from a ragged band of raiders into a well oiled killing machine. A multi-instrumentalist with many influences, he is very well versed in songwriting, murder and melody. He is known for his precision skills with a stick and high tempos of the damned. Upon his arrival to the heavens he will be heralded by his heroes, Rob Halford, Gene Hoglan, Mike Portnoy and Gavin Harrison to name a few. When he is not off blasting fast and eating ass he can be found enjoying progressive rock vinyls and sipping on bubbly.

Aaron is a proud user of Ziljian cymbals, Remo heads, Pearl pedals, Gibraltar hardware (for murdering) and Peace drums (not for keeping the peace).

Jason Da Vila

Growing up in a Latin household, Jason Da Vila had an undeniable upbringing that attributed to a love and interest in music and more specifically, rhythm. That being said, the journey to the world of guitar playing and loving Metal, was an unlikely one that involved Guitar Hero, burnt CDs, and a Volkswagen. Nonetheless, his passion was strong upon the arrival of playing his first guitar. The time between learning how to simply tune and playing on stage with a band did not take long.  Starting off in the NY metal scene he eventually moved to Georgia in 2014.  Picking up right where he left off, he eventually joined Malefic in mid 2015 and has been going strong since. Bringing us to 2023, Jason has become a formidable guitarist within the Atlanta scene.  Taking his roots within Salsa, Pop, and his own eventual discovery within Progressive Metal, Jason aims to expand the genres of Black and Death Metal to new boundaries and heights. His hope is to help keep the genre fresh and usher in the next generation of fans who wish to continue carrying the torch.

Andy McGraw

The desolate

Born under the full moon of a cold November evening in 1985 during a ritual of despair in the desolate lands of Georgia, he started his path of devastating debauchery that Malefic promotes. His punishing bass playing makes a perfect addition to the Malefic sound, providing the boom and gloom necessary for audible hatred.

He wields ESP/LTD as weapons of choice in the battle of world domination.

Sam Williams

Born of fire, Bred of shred.

Sam Williams’ musical journey can be traced back to the late 90s where he would be found obsessing over his older brother’s collection of early thrash metal albums. By his 15th winter he began training in the art of shred.  With a particular affinity for lightning fast melodic metal, he grew weary of the musical wasteland that is rural Alabama as he found it difficult to recruit comrades in his quest.  In 2019 Sam set out of on a mystical journey to Atlanta, GA where he would join the dark Malefic covenant to conquer the Nine-Realms.
